All administration and public service buildings within the MD of Greenview will be closed on February 17, 2025. This includes:
– DeBolt Public Service Building
– Grande Cache Public Service Building
– Greenview Administration Building, Valleyview
– Grovedale Public Service Building

Agricultural Services and FCSS Offices

Operations Buildings and Landfills
Operations buildings in Valleyview and Grande Cache, along with the Field Services Office in Valleyview, will be closed. Additionally, all transfer stations and landfills, including the Little Smoky Transfer Station, Sturgeon Heights Transfer Station, Greenview Regional Landfill, and Grande Cache Landfill, will be closed on February 17. The Grande Cache Landfill will also be closed on February 15 and will reopen on February 18. Commercial waste pickup in Grande Cache, normally scheduled for Monday, will occur on Tuesday, February 18.
Recreation and Tourism Facilities
While many administrative services will be paused, recreational facilities will remain open to provide fun and engaging activities for families.
– **Grande Cache Recreation Centre**: Open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, offering a variety of activities including public swimming, fitness center access, and arena events such as stick and puck sessions, youth shinny, and toonie skate.
– **Greenview Regional Multiplex**: Also open from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with public swimming available from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
– **Grande Cache Tourism & Interpretive Centre**: Open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a wealth of information and activities for visitors.
